The 1^st Division Tournament is underway in Northern Bahr Al Ghazal state and will continue today with tough match between Ayat Stars vs Isilah FC.

The first division league, which comprises of 12 teams, kicked off last week.

Al Salam FC beat Korok 2-Nil in the opening match on Monday. On Tuesday, Al Merriekh FC t hrashed Tuek-tuek FC 3-1.

Yesterday, a match between Aweil Stars FC and Apada FC was canceled. Aweil Stars didn’t show up, saying they were unhappy with the Aweil Local Football Association.

They say the management of ALFA unfairly gave one of their players two yellow cards during their match against the former 2014 champions Al Islah FC in the South Sudan Cup Competition last month.

Al Islah will this evening face off with Ayat Stars at 4pm.
