Residents of Hai Rerendum suburb in Juba found a dead body lying by a roadside this morning.

The body has not been identified, but witnesses say the man could have been more than 40 years old.

The circumstances of his death are not clear, but police say it may be natural causes.

‘‘What happened is that this man was a sick person. No body killed him. Nothing showed that he was killed by someone. May be that was because of the disease,” stated police First Lieutenant, Majok Malou, after examining the body.

“He died because he was not able to go to the hospital; so he was not shot.”
