The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology says this year’s final results of the national examinations will be accessed on its website.

It launched the website on Thursday. The public can access the site on www.moest-ss.com

Michael Lopuke, Undersecretary of the ministry, says the website will also make it easy to reach the public with useful information on education from all over the country.

“Results this time [round] will have to get through internet,” Mr Lopuke said.

“They will get their timetable on the internet, they will have the school calendar where they will know today is the opening of the school, and tomorrow is closing of end of term, education policies and documents that are necessary for the public and stakeholders, [on the website].”

For her part, the Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services, Hon. Rebecca Joshua Okwachi, said the move will reduce on the number of teachers coming from the around the country crowding in Juba.

“Having this technology will enable us to have the world to be coming smaller in our hands,” Ms Okwaci said.

She appealed to the other ministries that have not yet opened up websites to do so.
