The Chief Administrator of Greater Pibor Administrative Area Gola Boyoi Gola has received a “generous donation” of five Toyota Land Cruisers from Office of the President to improve his mobility.

The vehicles were reportedly presented by the Minister of Presidential Affairs, Joseph Bakasoro, marking the commitment of the President to support the security reform in the region.

Gola Boyoi Gola’s office said in a press statement on Tuesday that the donation underscores the President’s dedication to enhancing security and governance in the GPAA.

“These vehicles will significantly bolster efforts to improve mobility and operational effectiveness in maintaining peace and stability,” the statement reads in part.

The vehicles will be instrumental in supporting ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening security frameworks and fostering socio-economic development across the region, it added.

It was further noted that Chief Administrator Gola expressed gratitude for President Kiir’s gesture, emphasizing the critical role of enhanced logistical support in advancing security reforms.
