‘‘We came in this morning to visit and to consult with elder brother on issues that are current to show our support and solidarity with him and with the people of South Sudan and also to share our concern about the issues that are ongoing and indeed they need for us to be able to find the speedy resolutions to these issues in order to enable the people of South Sudan to get on more critical issues of economic and social development,  which really I believe is their desire,’’ he said.

President Kenyatta said South Sudan urgently needs peace and stability.

‘‘For the sake of peace and stability not just here in South Sudan but indeed in the entire region, we have had fruitful discussions with His Excellency the President and we have assured him of our support in this particular process as we move forward. All of these efforts are geared towards ensuring a quick speedy resolution, peace for the people of South Sudan and stability for the whole region so that we can all focus our energy and our attention in driving the social and economic agenda of our region ,’’ he said.
