Only three schools out of more than ten schools in Northern Upper Nile’s Renk County have opened, an official has said.

Most of the schools in Renk Town were using Arabic language, but this year all the schools will use English as the language of instruction.

However, Commissioner Stephen Chan says 7 schools could not resume the new academic year this month due to shortage of English instructors.
