Four youth arrested, linked to random shooting
Police say that four youths have been arrested in connection with a random shooting in Hai Mauna in Juba last night.
The Police Commissioner in Central Equatoria State, Henry Danima, says policemen were chasing away local youths who were practicing traditional dance at a school compound without permission.
He says the youths were drunk. They refused to leave the school compound and attacked the police.
‘‘So the police officer in charge ordered them to shot in the air to scare the attackers. So it is happened that they started running away. When they were running, they arrested the leader. They arrested 4 of them.” He said.
