Foreign missions face eviction

Author : | Published: Thursday, September 8, 2016

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the economic situation in the country has affected some of its foreign missions, particularly the one in London.

Reports say that the embassy of South Sudan in London has received eviction notice due to accumulated unpaid rent.

“The government and the ministry of foreign affairs are working to make sure that the embassies operate,” Ambassador Mawien Makol told Eye Radio.

It’s unclear how much the embassy in London owes the landlord.
