The National Legislative Assembly has summoned the governors of Lakes, Warrap, Unity, Jonglei, and Central Equatoria to address the assembly on the issues of insecurity in their States. The Mayor of Juba City Council has also been called to appear in the parliament to answer to questions on random shooting and killing in Juba city.

The Chairperson of the Committee of Defense, Security and Public Order at the national parliament, Aleu Ayeny Aleu said that the Governors and the Mayor will appear in the parliament on Monday. Honorable Aleu said that the governors and the Mayor will appear in person to address the assembly on why there is an increase in killing over cattle raids, hunger and revenge attacks in their States.
