The SPLM in Opposition says its leader Dr Riek Machar has requested President Salva Kiir for two days to consult with the party on the formation of the transitional government.
It says the President asked Dr Riek last evening to immediately submit the list of proposed ministers to be appointed to the unity government.
The spokesperson of the SPLM in Opposition in Juba, William Ezekiel, told Eye Radio that their leader is starting the consultations today.
“So hopefully tomorrow, we are going to have the transitional government of national unity”.
All the parties to the agreement have allocated 16 ministries to the government, 10 to the SPLM in Opposition, two to the Former Detainees, and two to the other political parties.
