The Ministry of Interior says at least 300 members of the organized forces in Central Equatoria State have been tested positive, after an HIV focal point was established in the Ministry.

The focal Point officer in the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier-General Zachariah Atem Nyok told Eye Radio that they received not lest than 300 offices including civilians who comes for treatment in their Voluntary and Testing Centers.

“We discovered that big numbers have not been testing in these Voluntarily Counselling Testing centers, because they did not have testing materials to give out good results in Central Equatoria State, where we established the center. The number is not more than 300. In Wildlife VCT we have 22 tested between the ages of 24 to 44 years old”, said Atem Nyok.
