The President of National Handball Federation, Juma Stephen has arrived from the Qatari capital, Doha after attending the Handball World Cup finals.

The secretary general of the federation, Abdulla Flip says the president has confirmed that South Sudan will participate in the fifth region championship in March.

The successful admission of South Sudan in the Continental Handball Federation was as a result of a meeting held by Juma Stephen with the president of International Handball Federation and the president of African Handball Federation.

The secretary general says the zone five championships will kick off at the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa on the 14th of March.
