The United Nations Development Program is handing over 30 tractors to help farmers produce more food for people in Jonglei state. The aim is to keep the youth away from the ongoing conflict, reduce food prices and make it affordable for the large number of returnees and internally displaced persons in the state. The UNDP will also hand over two buildings for judiciary and laboratory buildings for Bor Civil Hospital. UNDP has most recently implemented such projects in Eastern Equatoria and Lakes.
