Governor Jadalla appoints caretaker commissioners, Juba city mayor and deputies

Central Equatoria State Caretaker Governor Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani has appointed caretaker commissioners for the state’s six counties, alongside a new caretaker mayor and three deputy mayors for Juba City Council.

According to a statement posted by the Office of the Governor, the appointments took effect on Thursday, October first, following the governor’s signature.

The newly appointed caretaker county commissioners are Kalisto Lado Faustino Nyigilo for Juba County, Emmanuel Taban Seme for Yei River County, Charles Laku Losio Yensuk for Kajo-Keji County, Abraham Kenyi John Pulo for Terekeka County, Loku Micah Wani Lungaju for Lainya County, and Isaac Moro Johnson Lupai for Morobo County.

For Juba City Council, Christopher Serafino Wani Swaka has been reappointed caretaker mayor.

Jacob Acheck Loi will serve as deputy mayor for Administration and Finance, Stephen Lomude Martin Jamba as deputy mayor for Environment and Waste Management, and Wol Mathok Diing Wol as deputy mayor for Social Services and Infrastructure.

The new officials are expected to take up their respective caretaker responsibilities as the Central Equatoria State administration continues its work at the county and city levels.
