Igga urges SPLM members to turn differences into opportunities for learning

Vice President Dr. James Wani Igga has called on members of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) to ensure that differences in opinion strengthen rather than divide the ruling party.

Speaking during the opening of an SPLM seminar, Dr. Igga said the gathering was an opportunity for members to reflect on the party’s journey, assess its current position, and chart a united path forward.

“Our seminar today is more than just another meeting. It is going to deal with serious issues, SPLM issues and national issues. It is an opportunity therefore to reflect on where we have come from, where we are today, and where we intend to go as a united, disciplined, ruling party, the SPLM,” he said.

The Vice President stressed that differing views within the party should be embraced as opportunities for growth and learning rather than becoming sources of division.

“Differences in opinion should become opportunities for learning, rather than a resource for getting divided,” Dr. Igga said.

He urged party members to uphold unity and discipline as the SPLM continues to address both internal and national challenges.
