Lakes State immigration office receives over 460 nationality certificates

The Directorate of Civil Registry, Nationality, Passports and Immigration in Lakes State has received more than 460 newly processed Nationality Certificates for issuance.

State Director of Civil Registry and Immigration, Major General Dut Majok, is urging applicants from four counties to collect their documents.

The counties are Wulu, Rumbek East, Rumbek North and Rumbek Centre.

“We are urging all residents who applied for their nationality documents to come forward and pick them up without delay,” Maj. Gen. Majok stated.

The Directorate says applicants must present an original identification document, such as an application slip or temporary ID, before receiving their certificates.

Officials say the documents will be verified to ensure they are issued to the correct applicants.

Collection is ongoing at the DCRNPI offices during normal working hours.
