New Pibor Chief Administrator appoints caretaker cabinet and county commissioners
The Caretaker Chief Administrator of the Greater Pibor Administrative Area, Joseph Boyoi Ngare, has appointed a new caretaker cabinet and commissioners to oversee the administration during the election period.
Chief Administrator Ngare announced the appointments in a gubernatorial order issued yesterday.
He appointed seven caretaker ministers, including Nyinginga Okanho Kiru as Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement, Jacob Werchum Jook as Minister of Information and Communication, and Hansen Ismail Konyi as Minister of Finance, Planning and Investment.
Others are James Chacha Konyi, Minister of Health, and Simon Gain Ngare, Minister of General Education and Instruction.
The new officials will oversee key sectors, including local government, law enforcement, finance, health, education, infrastructure, agriculture and information services across the Greater Pibor Administrative Area.
Chief Administrator Ngare tasked the caretaker cabinet with supporting the administration in delivering essential public services and coordinating government operations across the area.
He also appointed commissioners to lead the six counties within the Greater Pibor Administrative Area.
They include Peter Aburethhi, Commissioner of Gumuruk County; John Gogol Oboch, Commissioner of Lekuangole County; and David Lokoli Allan, Commissioner of Jebel Boma County.
Others are Nakure Celera Lomona, Commissioner of Pibor County; Okony Otwier Obango, Commissioner of Pochalla North County; and Owity Olung Oman, Commissioner of Pochalla South County.
Ngare also established a caretaker leadership for Pibor Town Council.
He appointed Nyakiyoko Yousif Chollo as Mayor of Pibor Town Council, with William Ngaloki Konyi as Deputy Mayor for Administration and Finance.
Allan Martin Lotiko was appointed Deputy Mayor for Land and Survey.
