The Uganda Police Force has called on members of the public who have recently lost or had their iPhones stolen to report to Katwe Police Station to help identify and recover their devices.

In a public notice issued on its official Facebook page on Thursday, the police advised affected individuals to present proof of ownership when reporting to the station.

The police said the documentation would facilitate the identification of recovered phones and ensure they are returned to their rightful owners.

The notice did not indicate how many iPhones had been recovered or provide details on the circumstances under which they were recovered.
